Partner Onboarding

Set up the branded portal clients will use to access your partner offer.

Partner onboarding creates the branded portal your clients will use to access the Acquisity-powered offer you sell. This guide walks you through the full setup: subscription, custom domain, branding, feature access, and final login checks.

Private beta

Partner onboarding is only available to invited private beta partners. If you do not see the partner setup option, ask support to check whether your account has been enabled.

Watch the Setup Guide

Before You Start

Have these ready before you open the wizard:

What you needWhy it matters
Partner nameThis is the name clients will recognise in the partner workspace.
Domain registrar loginYou need this if you want to connect a custom domain, such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Porkbun, Namecheap, or Squarespace.
Logo fileThis appears inside the branded portal and helps the workspace feel like your software.
Brand colour or theme choiceThis helps clients visually separate your portal from the default Acquisity app.
Feature access planDecide which tools your clients should see first. You can adjust this later from Partner Panel.

You do not need to understand code. Most of the setup is copying values from Acquisity into your domain provider.

If you choose a custom domain, you may need help from whoever manages your website or domain.

Key Steps

1. Open the Partner Setup Wizard

Partner setup wizard entry point

  • In Acquisity, go to Settings.
  • Find Become a Partner at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • Open the onboarding wizard to start creating your partner workspace.

2. Enter the Partner Workspace Name and Subscribe

Partner workspace name and subscription step

  • Enter the partner name clients should recognise.
  • Click Get Started.
  • Complete the white-label partner subscription to unlock partner workspace features.
  • Confirm the subscription is active before spending time on branding or DNS.

3. Decide Whether to Add a Custom Domain Now or Later

Custom domain choice in partner onboarding

  • Review the option to add a custom domain.
  • If you want to move quickly, use the pre-generated domain first and add your custom domain later.
  • For the cleanest launch, plan to use a subdomain connected to your main website domain.

Best practice

Use a subdomain such as app.youragency.com, portal.youragency.com, or clients.youragency.com. This keeps your main website live while giving clients a branded login link.

4. Choose and Enter the Subdomain

Subdomain entry in partner onboarding

  • Use a subdomain such as app.yourmaindomain.com.
  • Good examples include:
    • app.whitelabelpartners.com
    • os.whitelabelpartners.com
    • demo.whitelabelpartners.com
  • Enter the full subdomain in the setup wizard.
  • Click Add Custom Domain.

5. Add DNS Records in Your Domain Registrar

DNS values shown in partner onboarding

  • Copy the DNS values shown in Acquisity.
  • Log in to your domain registrar, such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Porkbun, Namecheap, or Squarespace.
  • Open the DNS settings for your domain.
  • Add the required record using the values from Acquisity.

6. Configure the DNS Record Correctly

DNS record setup example

  • Use CNAME for a subdomain.
  • Use an A record only if you are connecting the main domain.
  • Set Name or Host to the subdomain word, such as app.
  • Set Value, Target, or Points to to the destination shown in Acquisity.
  • If you use Cloudflare, make sure Proxy Status is disabled.
If you are connectingTypeNameValue
app.youragency.comCNAMEappCopy the target from Acquisity.
youragency.comA@Copy the IP address from Acquisity.
Domain verificationTXT_vercel or _vercel.appCopy the verification value from Acquisity.

For provider-specific steps, use Branding & domains or Domain Provider Setup.

7. Verify DNS and Wait for Propagation if Needed

Verify DNS configuration in partner onboarding

  • Return to Acquisity.
  • Click Verify DNS Configuration.
  • If verification fails, wait a few minutes and try again.
  • DNS changes can take time to update, so repeat verification until Acquisity confirms the domain.

If verification fails

Do not assume the domain is broken straight away. Wait 1 to 5 minutes, check that the record values match Acquisity exactly, then click Verify DNS Configuration again.

8. Apply Branding and Theme Settings

Branding and theme settings in partner onboarding

  • Continue to the branding step after DNS is verified.
  • Upload your logo.
  • Select a theme colour that clearly separates your branded portal from the default platform.
  • Save the branding changes and continue.

9. Review Platform Feature Settings

Feature settings in partner onboarding

  • Review which platform features should be available for partner workspaces.
  • If you are not ready to configure this now, skip the step.
  • You can adjust feature access later in Partner Panel.

Keep the first launch focused

Only enable the tools you are ready to sell, onboard, and support. Add more once your client onboarding and support process is clear.

10. Complete Setup and Confirm Access

Complete setup and partner sign-in

  • Click Complete Setup.
  • Select Go to Partner Sign-In.
  • Log in to confirm the workspace loads with your branding.
  • Open the workspace switcher and confirm you can access Partner Panel.

Cautionary Notes

  • Do not skip DNS verification before assuming the custom domain is working.
  • DNS propagation can take several minutes, so a failed verification may simply mean you need to wait and retry.
  • Turn off Cloudflare proxy for the domain record, or verification may fail.
  • Use a subdomain whenever possible, because it keeps your main website separate from your client login page.
  • Confirm the subscription is active before spending time on branding or DNS setup.

Tips for a Faster Setup

  • Prepare your domain registrar login before starting the wizard.
  • Have your logo file and preferred brand colours ready.
  • Use a simple subdomain such as app to keep setup easy.
  • If DNS does not verify immediately, wait 1 to 5 minutes before retrying.
  • Configure advanced feature access later in Partner Panel if you want to launch faster.

After onboarding:

  1. Check your logo and theme.
  2. Use the partner subdomain while you test.
  3. Create one test client user.
  4. Log in as that user or preview their workspace.
  5. Confirm the client view looks clear, branded, and focused before inviting real clients.
  6. Decide which features belong in your first client package.

What a Good First Launch Looks Like

For the first client, aim for a focused experience:

  • One branded login link.
  • One clean client workspace.
  • Only the tools included in the package you sold.
  • A short announcement that explains what the client should do first.
  • A support route your client understands.

This keeps the portal feeling like a polished product, not a messy internal dashboard.
