Overview
Workspace-level Cold Email Agent settings: default sending schedule, AI campaign management defaults, credits, contact capacity, and blocklist controls.
The Settings → Cold Email Agent page controls workspace-level defaults for cold email campaigns.
Use this page when you want to set the default behavior new campaigns start from. Use a campaign's Options tab when you want to change one existing campaign.
What's on this page
| Area | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Default Campaign Sending Schedule | Default days, time window, and timezone for campaign sending. |
| AI campaign management | Whether the campaign agent is allowed to manage campaigns, plus default action modes. |
| Credits / Feature Credits | Used and remaining lead credits, plus top-up access when available. |
| Workspace Contact Capacity | How close the workspace is to its stored-contact capacity limit. |
| Cold Email Blocklist | Addresses and domains that should never receive future outreach. |
Defaults vs campaign-specific settings
Workspace settings are defaults. They set the behavior campaigns start from.
Campaign Options are campaign-specific. If an existing campaign needs different behavior, open that campaign, go to Options, change the Cold Email Agent section, and save.
If a campaign has no saved campaign-specific settings yet, it can show workspace defaults. Saving Options creates settings for that campaign, and those campaign settings take priority.
Default sending schedule
Use Default Campaign Sending Schedule to set:
- from and to times
- timezone
- sending days
This controls cold email sending windows. It does not control when prospects can book meetings with you. Calendar booking availability lives separately in your calendar and availability settings.
AI campaign management defaults
Use this section to set the master switch, speed preset, action modes, and approval-expiry behavior that future campaigns start with.
The Pause underperforming campaigns setting applies only when the agent also has an enabled replacement-campaign action. The agent does not pause a campaign by itself.
See AI Agent for the action-mode definitions, recommended defaults, and approval expiry behavior.
Credits and capacity
The Credits / Feature Credits card shows your lead-credit balance. You can also check it in Settings → Billing → Credit Balances.
In standalone Acquisity, credits are normally consumed when AI Lead Search delivers verified leads. In Instantly-connected workspaces, a verified duplicate can consume a credit before the final upload blocks it. CSV uploads do not use lead credits. See Credits for the full rules.
The Workspace Contact Capacity card shows whether the workspace is near its contact storage limit. You can have credits available and still be blocked from adding more leads if the workspace is full.
Blocklist
Use Cold Email Blocklist when you need to prevent specific email addresses or whole domains from receiving future outreach.
The blocklist lives at Settings → Cold Email Blocklist, separate from the main Settings → Cold Email Agent page.
If something's not right
I want future campaigns to use these settings
Change Settings → Cold Email Agent and save. New campaigns start from those defaults.
I want an existing campaign to use different settings
Open the campaign, click Options, change the Cold Email Agent section, and save. Campaign-specific settings override workspace defaults.
I can't add more leads even though I have credits
Check Workspace Contact Capacity. Credits pay for lead search. Capacity controls how many contacts can be stored in the workspace.
I need more lead credits
Use the top-up option in Settings → Billing → Credit Balances, Settings → Cold Email Agent → Feature Credits, or the lead-search confirmation dialog.
