Build Your First Website
Create your first AI Website Builder site from a prompt, template, or uploaded files.
This page walks you through the first build. No code. No scary setup. Just describe the website, give the AI useful details, and review what it makes.
Open AI Website Builder
- Open your workspace.
- Click Website Builder in the left menu.
- Start from the prompt box, an example prompt, or a template.
If you cannot see Website Builder, check you are in the correct workspace, refresh the page, or contact support.
Use A Prompt Template
If you do not want to start from a blank prompt, click one of the ready-made prompt templates under the prompt box.
These templates give the AI a useful starting shape:
- Landing Page: A focused page for one offer, campaign, lead magnet, webinar, download, or booking goal.
- Business Website: A full website for a company, service, product, or local business.
- Portfolio Site: A site for your work, case studies, projects, creative services, or personal brand.
- Agency Website: A site with services, proof, process, team, client logos, and a lead capture form.
- Local Business: A site for a restaurant, clinic, salon, studio, venue, trades business, or service area.
- Personal Brand: A site for a founder, creator, coach, consultant, speaker, or freelancer.
After you choose a template, edit the prompt before generating. Add your business name, audience, offer, location, links, services, opening hours, proof, and anything the AI should definitely include.
What To Type First
A strong first prompt tells the AI five things:
| What to include | Example |
|---|---|
| Who the site is for | "A dental clinic in Austin" |
| Who visits it | "Parents looking for a family dentist" |
| What visitors should do | "Book an appointment" |
| What sections you want | "Services, reviews, pricing, FAQ, contact" |
| What style you like | "Clean, warm, trustworthy, mobile-friendly" |
Here is a simple prompt you can copy:
Build a website for [business name], a [business type] helping [audience].
The main goal is to [book calls / collect enquiries / sell a service / explain an offer].
Include these sections: [sections].
Use this style: [style].
Use these details: [services, proof, location, pricing, testimonials, contact details].
Make it easy to use on mobile.Add Files If They Help
Use the attachment button if you have helpful files.
Supported files:
| File type | Best for | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Images | Logos, screenshots, brand references, product photos | 5 MB |
| Brand guides, service menus, briefs, brochures | 10 MB | |
| TXT or Markdown | Copy, notes, outlines, FAQs | 1 MB |
Tell the AI what to do with the file
Do not just upload a screenshot and hope. Say something like: "Use this screenshot for layout inspiration, but keep the copy about my business."
Build The Website
- Write your prompt: Add the business, audience, goal, sections, and style.
- Attach any useful files: Add screenshots, logos, notes, PDFs, or text files if they will make the result clearer.
- Click generate: The AI starts building your website. You will see progress while it works.
- Review the preview: Read the page like a visitor. Check the headline, offer, sections, buttons, and mobile view.
- Ask for changes: If something is off, use chat. Be specific: "Make the hero shorter on mobile" works better than "fix it".
If The AI Asks Questions
Sometimes the AI pauses and asks for more detail. That is normal. Answer the questions in the card, then let it continue.
Good answers are short and clear:
- "Use a premium but friendly tone."
- "The main CTA should be Book a free consultation."
- "Keep the colours blue and white."
- "The website is for homeowners, not commercial buyers."
What To Check Before Publishing
Before you publish, check:
- The business name is correct.
- The offer is accurate.
- No fake testimonials, numbers, or certifications were invented.
- The main button points people to the right action.
- Phone view looks good.
- Any form, link, or embed behaves the way you expect.
