Edit With AI Chat
Refine your generated website by asking for focused changes in chat.
After the first website is generated, the chat sidebar becomes your main editing tool. You can ask for copy changes, layout changes, new sections, mobile polish, styling updates, and fixes.
How To Ask For Changes
Use this format:
Change [part of the website].
Keep [anything you like].
Make it [what you want instead].Examples:
- "Change the hero headline. Keep the layout. Make the offer clearer for startup founders."
- "Add a pricing section with three tiers. Make the middle tier recommended."
- "Use the uploaded logo and match the accent colour to it."
- "Make the mobile hero shorter so the CTA appears sooner."
- "Add an FAQ section for objections about pricing, timing, and onboarding."
Good Edit Requests
| If you want | Ask like this |
|---|---|
| Better copy | "Rewrite the services section to sound more direct and less corporate." |
| A new section | "Add a process section with 4 steps: discovery, plan, build, launch." |
| Better mobile layout | "On phone view, reduce the hero height and stack the cards in one column." |
| Different style | "Make the design feel warmer and more local, without changing the logo." |
| More trust | "Add a proof section with three review cards and a short guarantee note." |
Use Attachments During Edits
You can attach images, PDFs, TXT files, and Markdown files during chat edits.
Use attachments for:
- Logos
- Screenshots
- Brand guides
- Website copy
- Service menus
- Testimonials
- Product images
Then say exactly how the AI should use the file.
Answer AI Questions
Sometimes the AI asks follow-up questions before it changes the site. Answer them in the questionnaire card.
Short answers are fine:
- "Use the phone number as the main CTA."
- "Audience is small business owners."
- "Keep the colours black, white, and gold."
- "No pricing section for now."
Use Try Next Suggestions
When the chat shows Try next, those are suggested follow-up prompts. They are helpful when you are not sure what to improve next.
Use them as a starting point. You can still edit the wording before sending your own request.
When The AI Does Not Change The Site
Sometimes the AI replies with advice instead of making code changes. That usually means the request was too broad or unclear.
Try a more specific prompt:
Please make this change on the website: add a new FAQ section below pricing with these questions...Keep Edits Focused
Broad prompt:
Make the whole website better.Focused prompt:
Improve the hero and first services section only.
Make the offer clearer, shorten the headline, and make the CTA button more obvious.
Keep the colours and logo the same.Focused edits are easier to review, and the AI is less likely to change something you liked.
