Managing Campaigns

Once a campaign is live, this is where you'll spend your time. Five tabs across one page — Analytics, AI Agent, Leads, Sequences, Options.

This section covers what you do after a campaign is created. From here you review a Draft, launch it when ready, check on a live campaign, add more leads, edit the emails, and decide whether to give the AI more or less autonomy.

Click any campaign on the Campaigns list to land on its detail page.

The five tabs

For approval requests and the agent autonomy settings behind them, see AI Agent. It explains the approval flow that can appear from the campaign page.

What's at the top of every tab

The campaign header sits above every tab and stays the same as you switch between them.

  • Campaign nameclick the name to rename it. A text field appears in place; type the new name, hit Enter to save.
  • Status badge — Active, Paused, Completed, Attention Needed, etc. See Campaign states for what each one means.
  • Launch campaign / Pause / Resume button — changes label based on the current status.
  • Sending schedule note — shows the next sending window if the campaign is currently outside its hours.
  • Alert banners — appear when bounce rate is high, the campaign is approaching its end date, or another condition needs attention.

Where to look — and in what order

Most of your time on a live campaign should be on Analytics. That's the page that tells you whether the campaign is working. The other tabs answer follow-up questions.

OrderTabWhat you're looking for
1AnalyticsReply rate, positive reply rate, emails sent, booked calls. The trend chart and the four KPI cards tell you 80% of what you need to know about a campaign's health. Most of your check-ins live here.
2SequencesWhich variants of which step are actually getting replies — and which aren't. Once Analytics tells you the campaign is working (or isn't), Sequences is where you act on it: switch off losing variants, refine the winners, decide whether to add a Step 3.
3LeadsBounce rate (anything over 3% needs attention; over 5% auto-pauses the campaign), unsubscribed counts, and lead-level data when a personalisation variable is rendering blank.

The AI Agent tab is a separate channel. It is where the agent explains what it noticed, recommended, requested approval for, or completed. It is worth checking once a day rather than treating it like a live monitoring view.

Options you only really go to when you specifically need to change a setting: inboxes, salesperson, sending schedule, or AI campaign management. It is not part of the regular check-in.

Two ways to add leads to your campaign

Adding more leads to a running campaign goes through one of two flows. You start both from the Leads tab — they're not separate pages in the sidebar.

Which one to use:

  • You don't have a list yet → AI Lead Search. Best when you can describe the market clearly (industry, size, geography) and want the platform to source matching contacts. It is not meant to prove every company's exact ICP.
  • You already have a list (CRM export, conference attendees, sales-nav export, an Apollo list, etc.) → CSV import. Free, no credits.

Both flows stop leads that are already in another campaign in this workspace from being added again. For CSV imports, that duplicate check happens during upload. For AI Lead Search, standalone Acquisity filters those leads out of the available count before import; if Instantly is connected, the preview may still include duplicates and block them later during upload.
