Billing
How Cold Email Agent costs connect to workspace billing, inboxes, domains, and lead credits.
Running the Cold Email Agent can involve separate billing and capacity items: your workspace subscription, lead credits, and any email accounts/domains you buy through the platform.
For the full workspace-level billing page (plans, payment methods, invoices), see Workspace settings → Billing. This page focuses on the Cold Email Agent-specific bits.
The billing and capacity layers
| Layer | Where to check it | What it controls |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace plan | Settings → Billing → Current Plan | Your main subscription and renewal/cancellation controls. |
| Lead credits | Settings → Billing → Credit Balances or Settings → Cold Email Agent → Feature Credits | How many verified leads AI Lead Search can deliver for you. |
| Workspace contact capacity | Settings → Cold Email Agent → Workspace Contact Capacity | How many contacts/leads can be stored in the workspace. |
| Email accounts and domains | Settings → Billing → Email Accounts & Domains and Cold Email Agent → Email Accounts | Sending inbox/domain subscriptions and billing management. |
These are related, but not identical. You can have lead credits available and still hit contact capacity. You can also cancel a workspace subscription without automatically changing every external tool or subscription you may have set up separately.
Credits are not the same as billing
Lead credits are spent when AI Lead Search delivers verified leads for you. They are not a cash balance and they do not cover every possible platform or inbox charge.
Credits are not used for:
- uploading your own CSV
- viewing/editing existing leads
- sending to leads already stored in the workspace
- creating or editing campaigns
See Credits for the full breakdown.
Pausing a campaign does not pause billing
Pausing a running campaign:
- stops more emails from going out from that campaign
- does not refund credits already spent delivering verified leads
- does not cancel inbox/domain subscriptions
- does not cancel your workspace subscription
Pausing is an operational control, not a billing control.
Where to manage billing
Use these places:
| Need | Go here |
|---|---|
| View/cancel workspace subscription | Settings → Billing → Current Plan |
| Open billing portal | Settings → Billing → Manage Billing |
| Check lead credits | Settings → Billing → Credit Balances |
| Buy more lead credits | Settings → Billing → Credit Balances → Buy More or the top-up action in Settings → Cold Email Agent → Feature Credits |
| Manage inbox/domain billing | Settings → Billing → Email Accounts & Domains or Cold Email Agent → Email Accounts → Manage Billing |
| Buy more inboxes | Cold Email Agent → Email Accounts → Add New Inboxes |
Exact current prices are shown in the billing portal or checkout screen before you confirm.
If you want to stop all Cold Email Agent activity
- Pause or finish active campaigns so no more outreach sends.
- Open Settings → Billing and review Current Plan plus Email Accounts & Domains.
- Use Manage Billing for subscription/payment details.
- Contact support through Feedback if you are unsure which subscriptions are safe to cancel.
Do not delete campaigns just to stop billing. Deletion is permanent and is separate from subscription management.
Can I pause my account?
The platform does not show a single "pause all billing" toggle in the client workspace.
If you need to stop or reduce charges for a month or two, check Settings → Billing and contact support through Feedback before cancelling anything you may need later.
Multiple client workspaces
Each client workspace can have its own campaigns, contacts, credits, inboxes, and billing context. If your plan includes multiple workspaces or agency access, check your plan terms in Settings → Billing or ask support.
You'll know your billing is set up correctly when
- Settings → Billing shows the plan and next billing date you expect.
- Credit Balances matches what you expect after AI Lead Search deliveries or credit purchases.
- Email Accounts & Domains matches the inboxes/domains you are actively using.
- Pausing a campaign changes sending behavior, not your subscription status.
If something's not right
I was charged more than I expected
Open Settings → Billing → Manage Billing and compare the charge to your plan, credit purchases, and email accounts/domains. If it still does not make sense, contact support with the invoice reference.
I cancelled but I'm still being charged
Check whether there are separate email account/domain subscriptions or third-party services still active. Settings → Billing → Email Accounts & Domains is the first place to look for platform-managed inbox/domain billing.
Lead credits disappeared
Credits only drop when the lead finder delivers verified leads to you. If your balance moved unexpectedly:
- Check recent lead-search jobs that may have completed after you closed the dialog.
- Contact support with the time window so they can trace the debits.
I upgraded plans but the bill hasn't updated
Plan upgrades usually take effect immediately, but some billing changes (like moving off a legacy plan) happen at the start of the next cycle. If your upgrade hasn't shown after 24 hours, contact support.
