Is there a limit on how many leads I can upload or store?
Whether there is a limit on how many leads I can upload or store, and where to find it.
Two different things often get confused here. There is no monthly upload limit — you can upload leads as often as you want, and CSV uploads don't cost credits. What there is is a workspace capacity limit: a cap on how many leads a single workspace can hold at any one time.
The cap is currently 25,000 leads per workspace. It's a total-at-any-moment figure, not a monthly quota — delete 5,000 old leads and you can immediately upload 5,000 new ones.
What counts against the 25k cap
| Counts against the cap | Doesn't count against the cap |
|---|---|
| Active campaign leads | Leads you've deleted |
| Leads in finished campaigns | Contacts in the CRM (separate store) |
| Uploaded-but-unused leads in the lead library | Leads in other workspaces on your account |
| Bounced and unsubscribed leads still attached to a campaign | — |
How to make room when you hit the cap
The cleanest approach is to delete leads from campaigns that are done.
- Open the campaign you want to clear out → Leads tab.
- Select the leads you no longer need (all of them, if the campaign is finished).
- Click Delete.
- Export to CSV first if you want a record — deletion is permanent.
Campaigns marked Campaign completed are usually the safest to clear if you are done with that original lead list. Completed campaigns can be resumed for new leads, but deleting old leads is permanent and those contacts will not be re-sent.
Why the cap bites harder for some setups
- Agencies running one workspace per client don't hit it often because each client's leads live in their own workspace.
- Solo operators running multiple offers in one workspace hit it faster. Splitting offers into separate workspaces solves the capacity problem and keeps AI behaviour isolated per offer.
If your upload is being rejected
Check the error message first. Common causes:
- "Workspace is at capacity" — you've hit the 25k cap. Delete leads from completed campaigns to make room.
- "Duplicate leads skipped" — the upload succeeded; only the duplicates were filtered out. Duplicates are rejected workspace-wide.
- "File too large" — CSV uploads are capped at 100MB and 20,000 rows per file. Split into smaller files.
Capacity is going up
The 25k cap isn't permanent. The product team is expanding workspace capacity in a planned update. If you're blocked today and can't delete older leads, start a chat with support via Feedback in the bottom-left sidebar — they can sometimes raise the limit case by case.
