County selections can fall back to the state
If you add a county-style location (e.g., "Orange County, California"), the search can't match leads at the county level, so the selection may resolve to the broader state. Your search then behaves like a state-wide search, and the lead count may not change compared to selecting the state on its own. This is expected behavior, not a broken filter.
Add the county's cities individually
To target the area a county covers, add the individual cities and towns within that county as separate locations. For example, instead of "Orange County, California", add cities like "Anaheim, California", "Irvine, California", and "Fullerton, California" one by one.
You can add as many cities as you need. The search returns leads matching any of the locations you've added, and the live lead count updates as you add each one.
