Can I set a per-inbox daily sending limit?
There is no user-facing daily sending limit control; the platform enforces per-inbox caps automatically.
There's no user-facing control for daily sending limits. The platform sets the per-inbox daily cap for you based on the inbox's state and how many campaigns it's sending for. You can see the current cap in the Email Accounts table — it's the second number in the Emails Sent column (e.g. 12 of 35).
The maximum cap is 35 campaign emails per inbox per day. DFY inboxes ramp gradually after warmup until they reach that full capacity. The platform can throttle below 35 when needed, but it never raises an inbox above 35.
Where to see the current limit
- Cold Email Agent → Email Accounts.
- Scan the Emails Sent column. Every row reads
X of YwhereYis today's limit for that inbox. - Adjacent columns give you the signal about why the limit is what it is:
- Warmup emails — recent warmup activity count
- Health score — deliverability percentage (aim for 80%+)
Why it's automatic
Daily limits move in lockstep with three things the platform watches:

An Inngest job (process-daily-email-sent) recalculates this when campaigns change, inboxes are added/removed, or settings update. The recalculation runs behind the scenes — there's nothing for you to click.
If the cap feels too low
- Give it time. A newly-provisioned DFY inbox ramps gradually after warmup before it reaches the full 35/day capacity.
- Improve the health score. If the inbox is landing in spam on warmup, the cap won't rise. Check the warmup folder in Gmail/Outlook and mark any warmup mail as "Not spam."
- Add more inboxes. Since limits are per-inbox, additional inboxes linearly raise your total daily send capacity. Buy them in Cold Email Agent → Email Accounts → Add New Inboxes.
Don't try to push beyond the cap
Trying to work around the cap damages deliverability. High volume from a cold inbox is the single fastest way to get flagged by Gmail.
