How do I connect an IONOS domain?
Add the Partner Panel DNS records inside IONOS.
Use this if your domain is managed in IONOS.
Steps
- Log in to IONOS.
- Open Domains & SSL.
- Select the domain.
- Open DNS.
- Click Add record.
- Copy one record from Partner Panel → Domains.
- Paste it into IONOS using the field map below.
- Save the record.
- Repeat for every Partner Panel record.
- Return to Partner Panel → Domains and click Verify Domain.

If IONOS asks whether the record is for a subdomain, enter the subdomain part such as app or portal.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to do |
|---|---|
| Host name looks wrong | Use the short host if IONOS appends your root domain automatically. |
| Verification still pending | Wait and click Verify Domain again. |
| Existing email records are present | Leave MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records in place. |
