WHITE LABEL PARTNERS · FAQ · DOMAIN PROVIDERS
Why is my white-label domain not verifying?
Fix common DNS, SSL, and authentication issues for white-label domains.
Use this when your custom domain is still pending, shows an SSL warning, or opens to an authentication error.
Check the Basics First
- Open Partner Panel → Domains.
- Confirm the domain is spelled correctly.
- Confirm every Routing Record has been added at your DNS provider.
- Confirm every Verification Record has been added at your DNS provider.
- Check that each record's Type, Name, and Value match Partner Panel exactly.
- Click Verify Domain again.
Common Problems
| Problem | What it usually means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Domain is still pending | DNS has not propagated or a record does not match. | Wait a few minutes, then compare every record again. DNS can occasionally take up to 48 hours. |
| Authentication error appears | The domain opened, but the login session or partner routing is not lining up. | Try the default partner subdomain, then open the custom domain in a private browser window. If it still fails, contact support. |
| SSL or security warning appears | The domain may be verified but the certificate is still provisioning. | Wait and try again. In Partner Panel, the status may show Provisioning before it becomes Active. |
| Record will not save | A record with the same type and name may already exist. | Do not delete anything blindly. Check whether the existing record controls a website, email, or another app. |
| Main website changed | The portal may have been connected to the root domain. | Use a subdomain such as app.youragency.com, portal.youragency.com, or clients.youragency.com. |
| Email stopped working | Email DNS records may have been changed or removed. | Restore MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records from your email provider. |
| DNS settings are missing | Your domain provider may not be the active DNS provider. | Check the domain's nameservers. Edit records wherever those nameservers point. |
| Cloudflare verification fails | Cloudflare may be proxying the record. | Set the relevant record to DNS only while verifying, then ask support before changing it back. |
