How do I connect a Bluehost domain?
Add the Partner Panel DNS records inside Bluehost or cPanel.
Use this if your domain is managed in Bluehost or a Bluehost cPanel account.
Steps
- Log in to Bluehost.
- Open Domains, DNS, Advanced DNS, or cPanel.
- Open Zone Editor if you are using cPanel.
- Choose Add record.
- Copy one record from Partner Panel → Domains.
- Paste it into Bluehost using the field map below.
- Save the record.
- Repeat for every routing and verification record.
- Return to Partner Panel → Domains and click Verify Domain.

If Bluehost previews the full domain, use only the short host in Name. For app.youragency.com, use app.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to do |
|---|---|
| Zone Editor has many records | Add only the records from Partner Panel. Do not remove MX, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records. |
| You cannot find DNS | The domain may be in another Bluehost product view or a different DNS provider. Check the nameservers. |
| Verification still pending | Wait a few minutes and click Verify Domain again. |
