Cold Email Writer

The Cold Email Writer is a standalone tool for generating email scripts. You fill in details about your business, your target audience, and your referrer. The AI writes 10 complete cold emails for you.

Where to Find It

Click Resources in the bottom-left sidebar, then open the Cold Email Writer card.

The Form: Step by Step

The form has 2 steps for most methods. The Direct method has 3 steps.

Step 1: Email Method & Target

Step 2: Referrer Information

The referrer is someone in your company who "forwards" the email. This creates a natural-sounding forwarding angle - the email appears to come from a colleague who noticed the prospect and thought they would be a good fit.

Step 3: Offer Details (Direct Method Only)

This step only shows up when you pick the Direct method. The AI needs more information to write a good pitch.

Reading Your Results

After you click Generate Scripts, you will see a "Writing Your Cold Email" animation while the AI processes your input. This takes 1-2 minutes.

Once processing finishes, you land on the results page. Here is what you will see:

Campaign Details Card

At the top of the page, a Campaign Details card shows a summary of the information you entered - your target industry, target role, sender info, and referrer. This lets you confirm the AI is working with the right inputs.

10 Generated Emails

The AI generates exactly 10 emails for each submission. They are displayed in tabs labeled Email 1 through Email 10. Click any tab to view that email.

Each email has three parts:

Editing Emails

You can edit any email directly on the results page:

• Subject lines: Click the Edit button next to the subject line. A text field appears. Make your changes and they save automatically. Keep it under 78 characters.
• Body text: Click into the body text to edit. Changes save to the database automatically. Keep it under 10,000 characters.

There is no download button. Use the Copy buttons to copy subject lines and bodies to your clipboard.

Creating Variations

Already have an email script you like? Click Create Variations From Existing Script at the top of the Cold Email Writer page. This takes you to the Variations tool, which generates fresh versions of your existing script.
