AI CONSULTANT · FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The AI Consultant said something is possible but it isn't?

What to do when the AI Consultant said something is possible but it isn't.

AI models sometimes generate confident-sounding answers about features that don't actually exist. The AI Consultant is no exception — especially for edge cases or recent product changes.

How to spot a hallucination

  • The feature is described but you can't find it anywhere in the UI
  • Step 3 of the instructions mentions a button that isn't there
  • The AI says "you can connect X" but there's no integration page for X
  • The answer uses phrases like "you should be able to" or "typically"

What to do when it happens

  1. Search the Help Centre for the feature name — if it's real, there's a doc for it.
  2. Check the section's FAQ and guide pages directly.
  3. If nothing turns up, open Feedback in the bottom-left sidebar or the chat bubble if it is visible, type "human agent", paste what the AI Consultant said, and ask if the feature exists.

Why this happens

The AI Consultant uses AI plus available product context, but edge cases and recent product changes can still be incomplete. When the context is missing, it can fill gaps by guessing based on what similar tools usually do. That guess is sometimes wrong.

If you find one, flag it

The more specific misses get reported, the more the team can correct them. Include the exact prompt you used and the answer you got when you message support.
