HIRING PORTAL · FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I post a job listing on the Hiring Portal?
Whether you can post a job listing on the Hiring Portal, plus the safest next step.
The Hiring Portal runs in one direction only: specialists apply to be listed, and you browse the list to find someone. There's no "post a job" flow that lets specialists apply to you.
What to do instead
If the Portal doesn't have who you need:
| Option | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Widen your search | Try broader search terms ("marketing" instead of "paid social for SaaS"). The Portal uses substring match, so specific phrases miss wider-skill profiles. |
| Post outside | Use Upwork, LinkedIn, a niche Slack community, or an agency referral. The Portal isn't the only source. |
| Reach out proactively | If you know of a specialist who'd fit but isn't listed, contact them directly — and point them at the "Apply to be featured" page if you want future projects covered. |
Why the flow is one-way
The Portal is curated — every listed specialist goes through an approval step. That's deliberate: the list quality is higher than an open job board, but it means throughput is capped. Adding a job-posting flow would change that tradeoff.
If you keep hiring
Start bookmarking profiles of specialists you work with, and keep their contact details in your own CRM. The Portal is a discovery tool, not a place to manage an ongoing roster.
